Up-cycled purple pullover using a velour mini-dress for the top half, and an out-of-style knit sparkley jacket for the bottom half. The jacket was unlined. I cut it in half, using just the bottom portion of the jacket. The front opening of the jacket was stitched shut once the buttons were removed. Then I attached it to the bodice with the former jacket opening facing the back. Outdoor photo studios have some lighting challenges, but at 4pm in January, I was so blessed that I got this taken without any snow on the ground. I will even overlook the tripod shadow. Just glad I got it at all!
Upcycled silver sequin beret was made from an evening gown... easy to assemble using fleece lining for the sequin part and fleece for the bottom of the hat. Gifted to Miss Alice for her bday Jan 7th. Happy birthday dear friend!
I needed an outfit for the weekly rock concert at The Summit, Kernersville, NC. I added the wetlook-spandex inserts to a pair of pants I already had. Then I lengthened the previously enjoyed chiffon top and made the tunic to wear under it. The gloves were an after-thought for something to do with the tunic scraps. Surprise! Its 55 degrees out! So that means not wearing the chiffon tonite. This photo shoot made me sweat. What a workout!
